7-POINTS TO CONSIDER
Clean spray air
… best possible security by using a triple-stage compressed air filter with integrated pressure regulator for coarse/rough adjustment of the spray pressure. Due to high pressure loss in the air hose / coupling, please check / adjust flow pressure at the paint spray gun.
Sufficient air volume
… by sufficient compressor power (please see product >> technical data for reference) as well as large air circuit sections. To avoid too heavy pressure loss, the air hose should have an inner diameter of at least 9 mm. Please make sure that you use antistatic, silicone-free and pressure-resistant.
Compressed air micrometer
For maximum flow fully open integrated micrometer, i.e. turn it to vertical
position III. Allows direct pressure regulation at the gun (not available with all gun types).
Correct adjustment of the dynamic inlet pressure
a) Spray gun with micrometer/gauge (optional accessory):
Adjust recommended inlet pressure at micrometer with trigger fully pulled (please see product >> technical data for reference).
The integrated spray gun micrometer must be fully opened at the same time.
b) Spray gun with retrofit gauge (optional accessory):
Adjust pressure at pressure reducer. Recommended inlet pressure is read with trigger fully pulled (please see product >> technical data for reference).
c) Spray gun without gauge
The air pressure which is normally measured/adjusted like 4a), 4b) and 4c) cannot be exactly adjusted without gauge. Please observe pressure losses in the hose. The recommended inlet pressure per 10 m hose (minimum inner diameter 9 mm) should be approx 0.6 bar above the recommended inlet pressure.
Material flow control
The material flow control should always be fully opened and be locked with the counter nut.
The material flow can be adjusted with the material flow control (without exchange of the nozzle set)
Round / flat spray control
Round/Flat fan control for continuous adjustment of the spray fan form to the object to be painted:
Turn to the left – flat fan
Turn to the right – round fan
Nozzle set
The nozzle set consists of a complete examined unit of paint needle, fluid tip and air cap. The air cap should be fixed in a way that the label can be read.
Only the use of original spare parts guarantees perfect quality and a long lifetime.
Spray distance
Please observe the recommended spray distance to reduce overspray and surface problems/painting flaws.
The distance between air cap and the object to be painted depends on the spray gun type and the applied paint material (without exchange of the nozzle set).
